Steps not showing up from Google Fit - Android?Update, 7 January 2026: on Android, moonwalk uses Health Connect to retrieve your steps. For everything to work properly, you often need both Health Connect AND Google Fit installed (Google Fit records your steps, Health Connect shares them with moonwalk).
If you can't validate your steps, check:- that Health Connect is installed and up to date;
- that Google Fit is installed and up to date (and actually shows your steps);
- that moonwalk has permission to read your steps through Health Connect;

How will I get paid?Once you have enough mooncoins, open the Payout tab and choose your reward: bank transfer, PayPal or gift card.The number of payment requests is limited: new slots open every day. How do streaks work?Walk and validate your steps every day to build your streak. A single step is enough, as long as you validate it in the app before midnight (your phone's time).Activate your streak in the app to get started.Safety pods: if you miss a day, a pod is used automatically and your streak is saved. You get 1 free pod, then you can buy more for 500 mooncoins each. You can keep up to 2 in reserve.Broken streak: if you miss a day without a pod, your streak goes back to zero. Your record is kept. How do ranks and XP work?There are 50 ranks, from Stargazer to Legend. You climb ranks by earning XP:
- each mooncoin earned from offers (games, surveys, apps) and rewarded videos gives you 1 XP;
- the ad you watch to validate your steps gives you 5 XP.Steps themselves don't give XP, and neither does your streak.Your XP never resets: you never go down a rank.XP only counts once your streak is activated. Mooncoins earned before that don't count.Your XP also unlocks the premium transfer.

What is the premium transfer?The premium transfer is the €20 transfer. To request it, you need a premium access.Every 25,000 XP unlocks one access. The app shows how much XP you still need before the next one.The access lets you request the premium transfer while slots are available. It doesn't reserve a transfer.You hold at most one access at a time, until you use it. How does the referral programme work?
As the referrer:- When you invite a friend, they immediately receive 600 mooncoins.

How do I request a bank transfer?1. Request your transfer through the app. You'll be redirected to the page of our partner Stripe, which will verify your identity. This process only happens the first time.2. Our teams check that the mooncoins were earned legitimately and in accordance with moonwalk's terms of use.3. How does the leaderboard work?The public mooncoin leaderboard is published in the App and can be viewed by all users. This leaderboard is for information only and is generated automatically without any usage checks. It does not entitle you to any automatic reward.The leaderboard may entitle you to rewards when this is expressly stated in the App; however, the number of mooncoins and the way they were collected will be checked manually or automatically by our team, in order to remove from the leaderboard any user who has accumulated points through prohibited behaviour (such as cheating).
Important: when you convert mooncoins into cash, those mooncoins are no longer available and you will drop places in the leaderboard

How do surveys work?Our survey partners invite you to answer surveys. Sometimes, after a few answers, you won't be selected because the polling institutes are looking for specific panels; in that case you don't receive mooncoins, apart from rare exceptions.If you're invited to continue the survey, at the end of it you'll be notified of the amount of mooncoins validated and received.Remember to turn on notifications so you receive the validation alert.

How do I refer a friend?You can share your referral code through the share menus and choose the service (text message, social media, etc.) to send it to whoever you like.You can also copy and paste just the code from your profile and share it however suits you best.Please note: the friend you refer only has 12 hours to enter your referral code.

If you're running into an issue where no videos are available, this is down to our partners and not a limitation on our side. Our partners set a maximum cap on the number of videos a user can watch, which can vary. If you've reached this cap, you temporarily won't be able to watch any more videos. Article 3 - Acceptance of the Terms of Use

Article 3.2 - Enforceability

When creating the Account, the User is free to tick the box "I accept the terms and conditions of use and certify that I am over 15 years of age"Acceptance in this tick-box form constitutes proof that the User has read our Terms of Use via the Application and amounts to unreserved acceptance. If you do not accept all of the terms and conditions of use and refuse to be bound by them, please refrain from using our services and delete your account where applicable. Article 3.1 - Acceptance of the Terms of Use

Article 7 - mooncoins

Article 7.1 - The mooncoins Pot

Creating an Account automatically enrols the User in the mooncoins award programme. mooncoins are points usable only within the Application, which make it possible in particular to unlock Rewards. The number of mooncoins associated with the User Account is displayed in the Account balance (the "mooncoins Pot").Users are awarded mooncoins by carrying out the actions promoted on the Application (validating daily walking, completing quests, taking part in competitions, surveys, events and/or any feature set up for this purpose), including in particular:

The number of mooncoins awarded for each action or challenge will be specified in the Application. This number may be subject to daily, weekly or monthly limits, as well as to validation criteria that may involve a certain delay in the awarding of mooncoins. The awarding of mooncoins through certain features available in the application may be subject to chance, with no purchase obligation or financial outlay required (promotional lottery).In the event of a win, the corresponding number of mooncoins will be credited to the mooncoins Pot. Article 7.2 - Awarding of mooncoins

The number of mooncoins associated with the User Account is displayed in the mooncoins Pot. The mooncoins Pot is neither a bank account nor any kind of payment instrument or service. It works as a points programme allowing Rewards to be obtained. The balance of the mooncoins Pot cannot be refunded in cash, exchanged or converted into any potential monetary counter-value. mooncoins must be obtained and used in accordance with the rules of these Terms of Use.MoonwalkHQ has final authority to decide whether a feature makes it possible to earn mooncoins. mooncoins will not be awarded, and may be removed, at moonwalkHQ's discretion, in particular where fraudulent use of all or part of the Services is suspected. We may change or impose different balance and usage limits on the mooncoins Pot at any time.In the event of a change, you will be informed. Depending on the number of mooncoins available in the mooncoins Pot, the User may unlock the Rewards displayed in the Application. Rewards may consist in particular of obtaining virtual items, supporting volunteering missions or humanitarian or environmental projects, taking part in limited-time operations, being awarded vouchers, partner discount codes, discounts on certain items or cash prizes, and/or being provided with a good or service. Access to a Reward requires holding a set number of mooncoins, as displayed on the Application.Some Rewards may also be obtained by paying a sum of money in addition to mooncoins. Except where expressly provided for and displayed in the Application, the User cannot obtain the displayed Reward if they do not hold a sufficient number of mooncoins corresponding to it.To obtain a Reward, the User must follow the instructions set out in the "Rewards" section of the Application. The choice and use of Rewards are at the User's sole responsibility. Under no circumstances may moonwalkHQ be held liable for any damage whatsoever caused to the User or to a third party as a result of the use of the Rewards. The Application makes it possible to obtain Rewards through operations requiring the use of all or part of the balance of the mooncoins Pot. In all circumstances, the User must act fairly when participating in and using mooncoins.

Article 8 - Intellectual property

The moonwalk Application makes it possible to track and verify the quantity and frequency of Users' physical movements, to generate mooncoins and to use them in exchange for Rewards.The Services provided by moonwalkHQ do not contain, do not constitute, and should not be interpreted as, medical advice or medical opinions.moonwalkHQ is not a licensed healthcare professional, does not collect health data and is not in a position to provide medical advice.The User should always consult a qualified, licensed healthcare professional before starting or changing a diet or exercise programme.The moonwalk Application is not a tool for diagnosing or preventing disease. Use of the Application does not create a doctor-patient relationship between the User and moonwalkHQ.

Article 10 - Personal Data

Article 11 - Liability

Given the IT and telecommunications constraints inherent in the use of the Application and the Website, moonwalkHQ cannot be held liable for damage caused by a malfunction in one or more of the stages of access to the Application and/or to the Service offered, due in particular, but not exclusively, to the drawbacks inherent in the use of the internet, such as service interruptions, external intrusion, the presence of computer viruses or malfunctions of any kind whatsoever.The User is invited to report to moonwalkHQ without delay any difficulty they may encounter while using the Application. moonwalkHQ does not guarantee optimal operation of the Application if the version used is not the latest version of the Application available on the download platforms (Google Play and Apple Store). moonwalkHQ cannot be held liable for damage caused by a malfunction on an earlier version of the Application.If moonwalkHQ has legitimate grounds to believe that the security of the Application is compromised or that misuse of the Service offered results from unauthorised use of the User's identification data, moonwalkHQ may temporarily deactivate the User's Account in order to preserve the integrity of the Application and of the data in their User Account.The User undertakes to use the Application in accordance with its purpose and not to carry out any unlawful, unfair or dishonest action, or any action that could be regarded as fraud of any kind whatsoever, aimed in particular at artificially obtaining a number of mooncoins greater than that corresponding to the physical activities carried out and the places visited.moonwalkHQ cannot be held liable where the non-performance or improper performance of moonwalkHQ's obligations is attributable either to the User's conduct, or to the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party to these Terms of Use (in particular the sources of the information published by third parties and, in particular, partners over which moonwalkHQ has no control), or to a case of force majeure as defined in article 1218 du Code civil (French Civil Code). Force majeure includes in particular: natural disasters, fires, strikes, breakdowns, shortages, war, power cuts, telecommunications network failures and losses of internet connectivity attributable to public or private operators. Furthermore, moonwalkHQ cannot be held liable for any indirect damage arising hereunder, loss of business, loss of profit, damage or costs.Without prejudice to the cases of exclusion of moonwalkHQ's liability referred to in these Terms of Use, moonwalkHQ may only be held liable to compensate direct, actual, foreseeable and certain loss suffered by the User, provided that the User proves that moonwalkHQ's contractual fault is the direct cause of their loss. The User acknowledges and accepts that no compensation may be claimed for loss of opportunity, operating losses within the accounting meaning of the term, losses of productivity, of contracts and/or of margin, loss of earnings or of mooncoins, failure to achieve expected savings or gains, or any damage to image.In any event, should moonwalkHQ be held liable, the compensation due shall not exceed the amount corresponding to the Rewards that were awarded to the User through mooncoins during the three (3) months preceding the incident.In order to facilitate their exchanges, the User accepts that moonwalkHQ's computer systems and files shall be authoritative between them, unless the User provides evidence to the contrary of at least equivalent value.Consequently, the computer files and records stored within the computer systems operated by moonwalkHQ, or on its behalf, under reasonable conditions of security and reliability, may be validly used and produced as evidence of the performance of these Terms of Use and, more generally, of any event, communication or relationship occurring between the parties in connection with the User's use of the Services. moonwalkHQ may validly produce in any proceedings, as evidence of any act, fact or omission, the data, files, programs, records or other items received, issued or stored by means of the aforementioned computer systems, on any digital or analogue medium, and rely on them, except in the case of manifest error.

Article 12 - Term of the contract - Termination

Article 12.1 - Term of the contract

The Terms of Use are entered into for an indefinite term as from their first acceptance by the User under the conditions described in Article 1.

Article 12.2 - Termination or suspension of the relationship by moonwalkHQ

moonwalkHQ may suspend or remove access to all or part of the Application and the Services in the event of the User's failure to comply with these Terms of Use.In such a case, moonwalkHQ will notify the User of this suspension and/or deletion of the Account by email and will give them formal notice to put an end to the breach.In the event of a suspension, the User may remedy the breach within a period of three (3) days from this notification.
After this period, and in the absence of satisfactory action by the User, moonwalkHQ may terminate the contractual relationship with the User as of right, without prejudice to any damages it may claim in compensation for the loss it suffers as a result of this situation.This termination may take place without notice in the event of a serious breach by the User of their obligations under these Terms of Use.moonwalkHQ reserves the right to deactivate the User's Account following a period of total inactivity on their Account of thirty (30) days or more.
However, the User will be able to reactivate their account, provided they have not exceeded a period of inactivity of more than six (6) months.This period runs from the date of the User's last login to the Application.

Article 12.3 - Termination of the relationship by the User

The User may end the contractual relationship with moonwalkHQ at any time, free of charge and without giving any reason.To do so, they simply need to go to the Application's Settings and tap the "Delete my account" option.Within seven (7) days of the deletion of the Account, all or part of the User's data may be erased from moonwalkHQ's databases and the User will no longer have access to the Application or to the Services.
The deletion of this data depends on moonwalkHQ's legal obligations and on its commitments under the Privacy Policy.In the event of the User's death, and upon production of the relevant supporting documents, the Account will be deactivated. Its content may only be passed on to the beneficiaries pursuant to a court decision or under the conditions provided for by the applicable regulations.

Article 13 - Disputes
